University-enterprise cooperation for win-win results -- Meilan Biology and Henan Institute of Animal Husbandry Economics have reached a cooperation intention

On May 29, 2018, Luo Shixi, the president of Henan Institute of Animal Husbandry Economics, Zhang Weixian, the vice president, Bian Chuanzhou, the president of the School of Animal Medicine, and Liu Chuanlu, the president of the School of Pharmaceutical Engineering, visited Meilan Biological, a vaccine factory under Meilan Biological, to investigate and guide the work.

President Luo paid high recognition and appreciation to Meilan Biology for its commitment and return to its alma mater since its establishment more than 10 years ago. Over the past five years, he has donated more than 1 million yuan to help its alma mater construction, donated its newspaper column and school emblem, and initially reached a cooperative intention to jointly build the "Meilan Research Institute" to carry out new vaccines, traditional veterinary drugs, disease diagnosis and other aspects.

Shangqiu Meilan Bio-engineering Co., Ltd., affiliated to Meilan Group, was founded in 2014. It is a high-tech veterinary biological product manufacturer integrating research and development, production and sales, with a total investment of 320 million yuan and an area of more than 100 mu.

In 2017, Meilan Biotechnology successfully passed the static and dynamic acceptance at one time. The vaccine product will be available in September 2018. After the product is available, it is estimated that it will produce 8 billion pieces of poultry vaccine and 1 billion pieces of livestock vaccine annually.
