The Emergence of Orchid Goose

Meilan goslings selected the gosling plague virus WF strain (goose parvovirus) and the current popular duck parvovirus, inoculated with goose embryo multiplication virus, harvested the infected embryo fluid, inactivated by formaldehyde and mixed with mineral oil adjuvant to make an inactivated vaccine, immunized healthy chickens, collected highly immune egg yolk fluid, extracted and concentrated egg yolk antibody fluid, for the prevention of gosling plague and the prevention and control of duck tongue disease.

In recent years, short beak and long tongue syndrome (BADS) appeared in the process of meat duck breeding in the market with obvious symptoms and serious harm. According to the results of etiological sequencing, the isolated virus strains have a high homology with GPV (goose parvovirus) of 95.0% - 98.0%.

Characteristics of Orchid Goose

1: The antigen was prepared by the virus strain with wide antigen spectrum, and the high immune titer was ≥ 1:256 after immunizing healthy chickens;

Usage and dosage of blue geese

0.5 mL/gosling at the age of 1 to 4 days

matters needing attention

1: The passive immune protection period of this product after one injection is 7 days;

2: This product will interfere with the vaccination of gosling plague attenuated vaccine after use, and live gosling plague vaccine should not be inoculated within 7 days before and after use;

3: This product is invalid after oral administration.

Introduction to gosling plague

1: Gosling plague is a severe infectious disease of goslings caused by goose parvovirus. It mainly affects goslings aged 4 to 20 days. It is characterized by rapid transmission and high incidence rate, with a mortality rate of 90% to. It is one of the main viral infectious diseases that endanger the goose industry at present.

2. Clinical symptoms: the incubation period is 3 to 5 days. The sick goslings show obvious mental distress, loss of appetite, severe diarrhea and neurological symptoms, and discharge water stool containing bubbles.

3: Pathological changes of autopsy: there are obvious mucosal inflammation, necrosis and a large amount of exudates in the small intestine, there are exfoliated pseudomembranes and emboli in the intestinal cavity, and there are necrotic intestinal mucosal tissue and fibrous exudates in the outer layer.

1: Duck short beak and long tongue syndrome, also known as duck big tongue disease, is a viral infectious disease caused by muscovy duck parvovirus.

2. Clinical symptoms: growth retardation, shortened and deformed duck beak, tongue exposure and droop, lameness, paralysis, diarrhea and easy broken wings and legs are the main characteristics.

3. Pathological changes of autopsy: some diseased ducks have bleeding in pectoral and leg muscles, enlarged pancreas with bleeding points, lung congestion and bleeding, and slight bleeding in thymus.
